Certification earns the right to display our mark and to state your certified status. These rules keep that claim accurate — protecting your certificate's value and everyone who relies on it.
When you display the Skyeblanc Certification mark or state that you are certified, you make a public claim: that a named management system, within a defined scope, has been independently audited and found to conform. Everyone who sees the mark relies on that claim being accurate.
These rules exist so the mark never says more than the certificate does. They apply from the moment certification is granted and form part of your certification agreement. Getting them right protects your investment; getting them wrong devalues every certificate we issue.
The mark may only be used within your certified scope, only while your certificate is valid, and never in a way that implies we certify a product, or that suggests accreditation where none has been granted.
Simple in practice: represent your certification exactly as it is, no more and no less.
Incorrect or misleading use of the mark, or of a certificate, is taken seriously — it undermines the trust the mark exists to protect.
Reported or discovered misuse is investigated under our complaints process — from any source, including the public.
The client is required to correct the misuse — for example withdrawing incorrect material or clarifying scope.
Where misuse is serious or uncorrected, we may suspend or withdraw certification and, where needed, publish a correction or take legal action.
If an organisation is displaying our mark or claiming certification incorrectly, tell us — anyone can report it.
