Why we ask. Under ISO/IEC 17021-1, a certification body must not audit a management system it helped build. Knowing whether — and by whom — you were advised lets us screen for any conflict of interest and assign an audit team with no prior involvement. Skyeblanc Certification does not provide consultancy of any kind.

What happens next

Review & screening

We confirm we're competent for your scope and screen for any impartiality conflict — including the consultancy question.

Fixed-fee quotation

We calculate audit duration per IAF MD5 and send a fixed-fee quotation with a proposed three-year programme.

03

Agreement & audit

On acceptance, a certification agreement is signed and Stage 1 is scheduled. The decision follows the audit — independently.
